DL PRESENTATION TECHNIQUES

  • Get to know your class.
  • There are no stupid questions
  • Be flexible. Go with the flow.
  • Be prepared!
  • Use AV and flip charts when possible.
  • Praise good discussion.
  • Get everyone involved.
  • Encourage notes!
  • Handout materials or refer participants to notebook materials.
  • Take away fear of answering questions for participants.
  • Use non-threatening participatory techniques (games, calling multiple individuals, etc…).
  • Use your best DLs to start and end the day.
  • Strict adherence to neutrality
  • No content interference
