- Get to know your class.
- There are no stupid questions
- Be flexible. Go with the flow.
- Be prepared!
- Use AV and flip charts when possible.
- Praise good discussion.
- Get everyone involved.
- Encourage notes!
- Handout materials or refer participants to notebook materials.
- Take away fear of answering questions for participants.
- Use non-threatening participatory techniques (games, calling multiple individuals, etc…).
- Use your best DLs to start and end the day.
- Strict adherence to neutrality
